All West Excavating isn't just John - it's a family operation. Janine handles the bookkeeping, accounting, and marketing that keeps everything running behind the scenes. Their daughters have worked alongside John from the beginning too, helping on septic installs, rock and block wall jobs, and wherever else an extra set of hands is needed. When you work with All West, you're working with a family that's genuinely invested in getting it right. Â
Meet John
John has been in excavation since he was 18 years old, working for various companies doing everything from logging to heavy civil road work. That experience made him a master of underground utilities, all types of dirt work, rock walls, site preparation, and road building.

In the spring of 2021, he opened All West Excavating right here in North Idaho - bringing that same hands-on experience straight to homeowners instead of just corporate contracts.
Relationships
We work directly with you, not through a chain of subcontractors and project managers. When you call, you talk to the person actually doing the work.
Experience
25+ years in excavation, logging, and heavy civil road work means there's not much John hasn't already handled - on someone else's property or his own.
